@H0neyB4dger He said “mise en place”, which is french for “put in place”. Just fancy culinary terminology I guess :)

@chriskimforlife It’s a view count glitch that happens to YouTube videos that get a lot of views not too long after it is posted.

@StevenEdit After you cook it, the alcohol evaporates :) You are left with the flavor of the wine and no alcohol.

I used to make a mini-batch of those to accompany either steak or shrimp. Love that flavor with the garlic.

@Proksima I just saw a curious pumpkin dish made on “cookingwithdog” channel, it was called “Pumpkin Potage” looked pretty good to me, although they used Asian pumpkins, I think any pumpkin would do just as well.

@UhTheeNuh89 If you live in North America or Europe there is parsley at your local supermarket. If you don’t know what it looks like, ask someone that works at the supermarket. Parsley is pretty mild, your mom might be thinking of cilantro or some other herb.

I lived in 3 different states in some desolate areas and the local market has always had parsley.

@UhTheeNuh89 you find Parsley in Europe, North and South America, Asia, Africa……… point is there MUST be parsley near by, its not overpowering, try cilantro :P
