Im vegetarian so Im used to alot of different foods and soups but Ive never tried this one
I just made it and
Its soo amazing

Jalapeno soup is one of the best things that I have ever made! I added juice from half a lime just because i had one on hand. And I can breath now!! bwahahaha

Mix a half teaspoon of cornstarch with 1/4 cup cold water and add it slowly to the soup and it will have a better consistency. This will allow you to leave out the sour cream and cream and still have a soup with some body. And it will be much better for you too.

I’ve always wondered: why do you use red onions instead of yellow/Spanish onions? Spanish onions are sweeter and can be caramelized, unlike red onions.

this is called “Caldo Verde” in Mexico. my mother used to make it. try adding corn, potatoes, zucchini and even spinach. yum!!!
