Seared Eye Round Roast Beef Recipe for the Barbeque by the BBQ Pit Boys

Welcome back!

Get your Barbecue Shoes On!! You don't need a rib roast to serve up a moist and tender Roast Beef from the grill. Our simple grilling technique uses beef rub, searing at high heat, roasting at a high temperature for the first 45 minutes, and then "low and slow" for about another 2 hours. This inexpensive, and lean cut of beef is perfect for the tailgating party and family picnic, and is one of our favorite beef recipes for the grill. -BBQ Pit Boys You can print out this recipe at http://www …

Nice. We grew up in Texas and now live in BBQ-challenged California. Back home, u couldn’t swing a dead cat w/out hittin a BBQ shak, and they were all good.

Since I learned low & slow, mine’s better. ;)
One fella had an au jus that he kept in a crock pot by the cuttin board. For years, I never used a table sauce bc he’d slop a lil au jus on the meat. No other sauce was needed.

You have a good au jus sauce recipe?

Much obliged. Keep up the good work!

hey jl2box, although sometimes just some fresh slices of garden fresh tomatoes, some sliced cukes, vidalia onions, marinated in a little olive oil and apple cider vinegar works just fine. Then ya can call us Vegies! -BBQ Pit Boys
