Hey Paul!
I have recently been reading that some farm raised Tilapia from other countries are raised in unsanitary conditions. I am not an expert when it comes to this research. You can check out the Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch web site for updated info. I also recommend asking your grocer where their Tilapia comes from.
Thanks for the comment!

I tried Tilapia for the first time about a year ago at Denny’s of all places and became an instant fan of the fish. Before that, I didn’t even know what it was. I was surprised at how cheap the price of it was at the grocery store. I’ll definitely have to try your recipe. Looks great!

Hi noosaslayer. It takes that long because we are filming. A lot of stopping and starting, moving the camera, retakes etc…. This really only takes a short amount of time to make.

Hi there! A really great and indispensable resource for buying fish is from the Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch web site. Just Google them and you’ll find extensive guidelines for buying seafood around the world. You can also print handy little pocket guides to bring along with you to the grocery store or restaurant. Hope this helps!

Looks good Jas but it takes a while.
You started at 1.26pm and finished at 2.53pm, that’s 1 1/2 hours, got anything quick?

Hi, I noticed you recommended farm raised. I’ve been reading that farm raised fish (I know in particular salmon) can contain a lot of chemicals. How are the tilapia fish raised? Just some FYI I try and stay as close to organic/chemical free foods as posibble.
Thank you so much for your assistance. :O)
